Today has been a fun day of errands! I love going grocery shopping: I think it is so much fun thinking about what you are going to cook for your family and then going and getting the ingredients.
Also, I live in a small town. When I say small, I mean small! There is a whopping 600 people in my town. I love it though!!! That being said: grocery shopping is exciting because you get to get out of your town a little bit.
I used to live in Scottsdale, AZ and would have given a confident "yes!" If someone would have asked me, "would you consider yourself a city-girl?"
Now if someone were to ask me that it might take me a little longer to answer because I would really have to think about it. I am really not sure! : / I still love the city, I love how it is so close to entertainment, and shopping, and the grocery store. But, I really love my small town, it is so peaceful here! It is in the middle of the flat plains of Kansas! It is surrounded by wheat fields, and other crops. The pace of life is so much slower. The way people talk, drive, eat, seriously everything is slower. I know that might drive some people nuts, but ask any of my family or friends and they can tell you, I like to live a slower pace of life. I am pretty laid back and happy most of the time. Not to mention that God still wants my husband and our family here!
I think we are in a season of waiting. Did you know that wait means that you are being prepared for something! How cool is that!
How do you guys like grocery shopping? Is it something you dread doing? Do you ask your husband to do it? Is it that only hour-two hours you get to yourself when you go and leave your little ones?
Also, I am wondering what the majority of people do for grocery shopping as in do you take a concise list and stick to it? I am wondering this because I am just awful about grabbing "extras".
Also, how in the world do you coupon!? It seems wonderful!
All of these questions pop into my head whenever I am at the grocery store, and I will try to answer some of them in upcoming blogs!
To wrap this all up: today I went grocery shopping with my baby girl Amelia. Besides my husband she is my best friend. She is usually always with me giving me smiles. She is the happiest baby girl! I am so in love with her! She is my little buddy!
